1. dimensional accuracy of our indexable inserts: 0,01 mm
2. precise concentric run-out of our milling unit: 0,03 mm

3. calibration of our vertical adjustment: 0,05 mm
three times precise = three times cost-efficient!

Reasons for the test results
1. The performance of our milling machines bases upon the dimensional accuracy of our indexable inserts of a tolerance of approximately 0.01 mm. In this respect we set a high value on premium quality. Indexable inserts manufactured in a “speed-grinding” with greater tolerances or made in a pure press process are cheaper in production but at the same time reduce the endurance of the indexable inserts and, due to more vibration, the life of the milling machine.

2. Of course, a precise concentricity of the milling unit is also essential for the application of high quality indexable inserts. By the contact of the indexable inserts to the material the cutting depth is determined by the chosen rotation combined with the feed. In case of the high rotation speed as applied by hand guided machines, every imbalance has a negative impact on the result.
| - The more blades consequently contact the material the thinner are the milled filings. | |
| - The greater the resulting imbalance the fewer blades per rotation are working. | |

3. A maximum precise and fine adjustment of height is also very important. This calibration helps to adjust the necessary bevel dimension as fast and precise as possible.
Conclusion: The more constant the inserts are manufactured, the concentricity of the milling unit is more precise, the height calibration is functioning more simply and accurate, |
